Jones, who has been verbally committed to Illinois since mid April did add an offer late last week from Iowa.
"Iowa offered me last week. I know they have been in school and seemed pretty interested in me. It's nice to get an offer from them but really not much has changed for me. I don't see much changing for me right now and I'm still pretty much set on Illinois."
Jones however hasn't counted about taking a few official visits before Signing Day.
"I'm allowed five official visits and I'm still thinking about taking a few official visits. I want to make sure that Illinois is the best fit for me. It's hard to compare Illinois to other schools because I've only been out to see a handful of schools in person. I might change my mind and be set without taking any visits but it's something I'm considering."
