Frazier is playing out of his mind, and Underwood has got his team playing that hero ball/streetball style to perfection.

Their offense is essentially flashy-looking drives or dribble-dribble-dribble, then do some between the legs crossovers to look cool, then give a few hard drive steps forward, then jump back and shoot a fade away 3 or mid range jumper while keeping that shooting hand out in case the shot goes in so they can show off after they make it....or feed Cockburn the ball inside.

One of these days, that heroball 3 isn't gonna be falling, and it's gonna be a sad day......for Illini fans.

Excellent point. Illinois was projected to be an 8/9 seed at best before the Michigan game and they get lucky with their flashy street ball and all of a sudden they’re a 1?

Oh and by flashy I meant that it's exaggerated. Dramatic (over-dramatic?). Dosunmu is the worst with the way he flails around when driving to the basket, which somehow is difficult for people at the college level to guard without fouling...........it's actually a science to him (no........that is not me giving him respect.....do not misconstrue that).

This had more to do with michigan than illinois. Just like our loss to Michigan had more to do with us. We might not win a rematch with michigan but I doubt it would be a beating like we took in the first game ...anymore than if we played Gonzaga again.

Let Gonzaga okay our schedule....they wouldn't be ranked first in the country

UM is certainly capable of playing better but Illinois flat out won every individual matchup in that game on both ends.

Frazier and Curbelo touched Smith and Brooks and then Michigan put their stopper on Trent Frazier and he couldn't stop him.

Wagner was unable to get around his man like he did against Iowa.

Dickinson was not able to move Kockburn.

Illinois hit everything but UMs offense was locked up by Illinois.
