Be honest. Right now you guys aren’t taking care of the ball at all. You have 14-16 turnovers against Baylor or Duke and you are going to get beat down by 20+.

Miller and Curbelo look good and Ayo is Ayo (a legit AA candidate) but I don’t think it’s a top ten team. I think if we played tomorrow, Iowa would win by double digits.

I am more concerned about Illinois. I could see Iowa fading and finishing 4th in league on bad defense.. It is an Iowa thing to do...just when your expectations are the highest, the rug gets pulled out.

Today was concerning in that regard. I’m optimistic this was a needed wakeup call. I’m sure our guys felt invincible going into today. I think both of us shouldn’t say too much until Wednesday, when we’ll see just how good Illinois is for sure.
