The team deserves the game ball, Cook was a man in the paint, Pemsl great offensive rebound at the end, what can you say about Wagner's steal, great play, Baer was a rock in the first half and of course jump shot Jordy made a stone cold, dagger to the heart three.

Let us not forget that Iowa, courtesy of Nicholas Baer from Bettendorf, hit a HUGE 3-pointer just before the halftime buzzer to push the lead to seven. Don't get that one, ya don't get the win. Iowa finally hit the big shots at the most clutch moments. It's been a long time coming, but man, was it worth it.

Can't say enough about these kids' hearts. Blow Penn State out on Sunday, then lace 'em up and go on a conference tourney run that leads to the NCAA Tournament. Beautiful.

And Carver had better be filled and rockin' on Sunday. These Hawkeyes have earned it.
