I don't disagree with the second part of your thesis, but I think Christian Hackenberg may be not make it through the game. MSU's DL vs. PSU's OL is just too much of a mismatch.
I think there is a low chance a just OK penn state (I mean their best win is over Illinois) team beats MSU at home, with the playoffs on the line, on senior day.
Penn State's o-line gets beaten regularly in practice by blocking sleds.

I do not want that. The game will be all about the two qbs and not about the teams, especially our team. I heard a media type say he wanted that matchup last week. Absolutely not.

Jake knows our D schemes and would exploit them easier than any other qb. Defense knows his tendency but i think it's a heavily in Jakes favor. I still think we would beat them. I think we have a good chance at whoever, I'd just rather see Sparty or Bucky.

Agree on the Wolverines, but I think MSU wins against PSU. I'll definitely be watching that score, though. Stranger things have happened and if Cook is out again then it's a real possibility.
With the imploding of OSU, they are done for. MSU will beat PSU. CCG is Iowa vs. MSU with the winner going to CFP and the loser going to the Rose Bowl.
Only if we take care of business in Lincoln do we go to CFP with a win over MSU.

Looking at espn's pre week 13 poll has 1. Clemson 2. Alabama 3.Oklahoma 4. MSU..Iowa at 5 still.
Doesn't change anything. I also don't think the committee does this. As much as ESPN wants it to be this, it won't be.
