It's not my fault that you still don't get it. Your idea is what is typically heard from a drunk sports know-it-all at the local tavern. You are just ignoring facts and reason, while trying to be cool with juvenile remarks, because you think your idea is awesome. You're not worth any more of my time.
Clearly not worth your time, which is why you continue to respond.
I don't mind the tournament set up as it is now, I really don't. To me NCAA tournament is the best time of the year when it comes to sports. It's Christmas time in the sports world for me and it's not even close.
I don't know what facts you presented. Your reasoning is absurd that automatic bids make it a true champion as opposed to the top 64 teams being invited. Every division one school has just as much chance and opportunity to be ranked in the top 64 teams in the eyes of the NCAA committee as anyone. Bucknell and UNC-Wilmington have as fair of chance to be invited as Iowa, UNC, or Illinois State or any other D1 school for that matter.
I don't care to see teams like E. Tenn St, Winthrop, Bucknell, (18-16) S Dakota St, and Jacksonville St taking the places of Iowa, Illinois, Syracuse, Wake, Vandy, Cal and other schools who play a vigorous schedule all year long and who are obviously better teams than 95% of these one bid conference teams. To me, it's goofy to invite a lesser team based on what conference they come from. Like I said, I'd invite the best 64 teams in D1 to the NCAA. It would not make it anymore or less of a mythical champion than what they have now.
Agree or disagree, I'm glad I wasted more of your precious time.
