WW1 was an absolutely greed and stupid war that killed millions. You can make a case for WW2, but Hitler could have easily been stopped in the invasion of the lowlands and France. Japan likely couldn't have been stopped.

Ha ha...I"m a published author. France actually performed well. They assumed and took actions like they were in WW1. My main ww2 book was the number 1 seller for the worlds largest military press in the year it came out.
France was expecting the Marginot Line attack, not the Ardennes. Hitler attacked with way more firepower in the Ardennes Offensive verse the earlier version.
Russia also baited Hitler. Hitler was never going to win that fight especially after Italy and the Balkans fiasco.
