Increasing Auto insurance premiums

Heaven help you if you have a teenage son someday. My 19 year old son no wrecks and no tickets and with the safety check discount from State Farm is now down to only 385 a month. He started at 450.

@BrunoMars420 . . . you don't need to start a revolution. You can expect to not only see a reduction in your auto-insurance premiums starting with your next 6 month billing but you can also expect to receive a dividend check because the next occupant in the White House and his administration is going to bring inflation to zero immediately and BIGLY.

Agree, that amount is stupid. Quit buying kids cars that are eventually going to be wrecked, keyed, or not maintained well

As my progressive loyalty reward levels have gone up, my rates have gone up with it.

I think I just made platinum loyalty with progressive.

Iowa will give you a ticket if you do not have proof of insurance. My 16-YO son just had an accident and told the cop he did not have insurance because we dropped to liability only. So now I have to go to the courthouse to prove that the car was insured or pay the $850 ticket. The insurance card was in the glove box

Most insurance companies now allow you to add your insurance coverage card to your iWallet. Highly recommended tactic. Works great whenever I'm traveling, renting a car, and they ask for proof of insurance.
