Indiana is BAD

PU had a "fluke" best shooting night against iowa too...

Maybe time to consider that our D is comparatively weak AF. Will be a problem making the second weekend of the tourney.
Fair enough, but we were also playing much better defense a month ago. My theory is that Fran doesn't want to push the players too hard on defense continuously throughout the season because he wants them to peak at the end of the year. Playing tough defense is physically exhausting and its a long season. That's my theory.

After Green hit his first two, I wish we would have put him on the floor on his third attempt, just to give him something to think about. Yeah, he may have made the FT's, but he would have had to think twice on every shot after that.

Green's shooting last night reminded me of Bohannon's shooting a year ago against IU. Everything he was throwing up was going in.

Big freshman is a good player for IU. The other bigs are decent players, and they are very deep. IU's guards are bipolar, especially Green. Unfortunately, we caught him on one of his occasional great games, and once he gets going, it is hard to stop. He went off on CJ last night, and CJ is a pretty solid defender.

In the games I have seen, IU plays really loose with the ball, usually can't shoot from outside, and cannot make freethrows. I think they will be lucky to finish .500 in the B1G this year.

Indiana will not finish .500 on conference play.
