They can play more than what they played. With the short bench there is no way that Iowa can play significant amounts of man,.. not enough bodies.

Fair enough, but we were also playing much better defense a month ago. My theory is that Fran doesn't want to push the players too hard on defense continuously throughout the season because he wants them to peak at the end of the year. Playing tough defense is physically exhausting and its a long season. That's my theory.PU had a "fluke" best shooting night against iowa too...
Maybe time to consider that our D is comparatively weak AF. Will be a problem making the second weekend of the tourney.
Your talking like a Nebraska football fan.1) Indiana had the best first half shooting they’ve had all year, fluke, will never shoot like that again
2) Iowa lost its 2nd best player early in the game to injury
3) Indiana is at home
Indiana will not finish .500 on conference play.Big freshman is a good player for IU. The other bigs are decent players, and they are very deep. IU's guards are bipolar, especially Green. Unfortunately, we caught him on one of his occasional great games, and once he gets going, it is hard to stop. He went off on CJ last night, and CJ is a pretty solid defender.
In the games I have seen, IU plays really loose with the ball, usually can't shoot from outside, and cannot make freethrows. I think they will be lucky to finish .500 in the B1G this year.
Kind of what I just said.Indiana will not finish .500 on conference play.
