Indiana's RPI jumps 21 spots in one game

Dang. That's crazy how one game, against one team has that much swing this late in the season. I don't think I have ever seen that. They were literally a bubble RPIwise last week. Breathing easier now... Creen owes the Hawkeyes one big thank you!

I still say they were in without the Hawkeye victory, barring a complete collapse. But I guarantee you Creen is sweating a lot less right now. Iowa probably saved his job... Much less tension for today's game vs MSU. That said,, IU could lose quite a few games yet.

It was a combination of things. UM beating Purdue, Wisc beating Maryland, ND beating UofL, us beating Iowa. All teams IU beat had good games this week.

I agree. But that'll be tough for them. Their schedule finally gets stronger. Which might not hurt. Better those a loss to #7 is better than a win vs #265
