After the first 10 minutes...yes, it's early--very early...but that vaunted Indiana offense has tallied EIGHT points, and Minny leads 17-8. We'll see how it goes, but Minny is giving an effort so far.

34-34 at the half. Minny is hangin' tough despite some, well, creative officiating, missing a gaggle of layups, and generally being sloppy with the ball. So it's not like Minny is playing great at all...but they are outworking the Hoosiers so far. The upset is still available. Let's go Gophers.

This is one wild, physical, race-horse, YMCA pick-up teams contest. Crazy, sloppy, but entertaining. Neither team has run more than a handful of half court sets so far early in the second half. But Minny is still hangin' in there.

Looked to me like a dislocated finger. They hurt like hell but can be popped back in. I didn't think I saw a bone.

About seven minutes to go, and the wildness continues, although Minny now trails by 5: 57-52. Still a good chance for the Gophers to get the upset. They're still fightin'. Gotta give 'em that, but a W would be better.

Yep. Indiana was fortunate to pull this one out. Color me highly unimpressed. But give the Gophers credit for taking the Hoosiers down to the final minute in what, again, was a wild and undisciplined slug-fest.

Indiana are 100% pretenders. Granted they beat ND who beat Iowa, but that is it. Everyone else with a pulse they have lost to or played really tight.

..I do think Indiana is better than last year..the Mich transfer (fouls alot) & anunoby add a lot to their front line..Bryant is really good....but they still have Tom roaming the sideline..so there's that.
..if Crean coached football...and forgot where he last roamed...he might walk off the field....pulling his pants up of course.

You're pretty bad at simple reading. Their next 4 games are Illinois, NW, Wisc, and Minn again. They might get to 9-0 in the B1G.

Their back half is a lot tougher, though.
