If this has been posted already forgive me … I think what we all have thought about Cade etc

The typical "I-know-but-I-won't-say". In other words, they know exactly as much as you or I know.
 
I think they know more than they are saying, because they don't want to trash Cade and don't have 100% of the facts.

I do feel badly for Cade. He took Michigan to the CFP, completed 65% of his passes for almost 2,600 yards and a very good QBR. But his dreams of stardom and the NFL have come crashing down - he's been injured for the better part of the last 2 years and has struggled when playing. His knees have both been rebuilt and he's now coming off a concussion. It's not really surprising that he's not mentally ready to go.

One of the reporters asked Lachey a question about what it was like having Cade back at practice at this week's press conference Lachey's odd response was "you'll have to ask the coach about that"......The report speculated that Lachey didn't hear the question, but it seems there was more to the story.....
