I think the 95 sun bowl had white unis too. Probably both Holiday Bowls, since back then the WAC was the host conference. Not sure about 96 Alamo

Ferentz’s 7-8 bowl record isn’t terrible. I mean in general you should be playing teams that are about your equal, so right around 50% makes sense. I wonder what other B1G bowl records are since 1999?

Off the top of my head, and I could be wrong, but Iowa's overall bowl record in the Ferentz era fares pretty well against the rest of the Big Ten.

But again a lot of it comes down to matchups.
