Starting to wonder if Coach McGrath is the problem. Walks, HP’s, WP’s has been one of the main problems and continues to be. It’s not like the pitchers just started throwing 3 weeks ago. Why isn’t Savory getting the ball?
Marcus Morgan got the start yesterday in Iowa's 12-5 loss at Ole Miss.
Marcus started the bottom of the 5th with Iowa leading 5-4. After getting the first Ole Miss batter out, Marcus gave up 2 singles and a walk to load the bases (2 of these 3 base runners would score). With the bases full, Marcus got pulled; Heller brought in DeTaeye to get 2 outs and Savary to get the 3rd out. Ole Miss had a 6-5 lead after 5 innings and that was the ball game. Iowa did not score after the 3rd inning and Ole Miss would score 1 more run in the 6th and 5 more runs in the 8th to win going away, 12-5.
