Those last four innings by the bullpen were a grind, but they finished it off. Just keep taking it to the teams at the bottom of the standings.
Correct. I was listening to it on the radio while out in the shop and the Hawks should feel pretty fortunate to prevail in that last game. But hey, a win is a win and a series sweep is definitely sweet!

Minnesota has wins over Houston, Arizona St, (2), Oregon State, Oregon, and Kansas. Their RPI was really good. A 3 game sweep on the road is great!
Feels good to get the big one at the end, even when it’s close by your own doing!
Consider it a bonus if Oregon or UCLA drop a game this weekend. It’s still pretty early to fully make sense of distorted RPIs but we will have to stay running pretty hot for at least another few weeks to start making headway into the at large picture. Top 4 in the Big Ten still seems the most worthy and realistic goal. This was the first game all season we were “lucky to win” to counter a few we certainly were “unlucky to lose”. And you do need a few of those.

Hawks have been crazy hot lately. Great to see a sweep of the goofs. Hope we do the same to the bugeaters.
