As has been announced the schedule changed and Iowa now has a three game series vs the Bearcats in Georgia.

Iowa Baseball vs Cincinnati in Emerson, GA

Cincinnati is 1-6 but with losses to Santa Clara and Mississippi State. Outfielder Ian Happ is a stud who played for Team USA this past summer.
Richmond is 2-3 and is picked to finish third in the A-10 by Perfect Game. This will be the third game against an A-10 opponent for the Hawks after beating both St. Louis and George Mason two weeks ago in the Snowbird Classic.
North Carolina State is 3-2 with wins over Villanova, Davidson, and FIU. They enter Wednesday with a team batting average of .298 but a team ERA of 5.02.
The Hawks have a great shot of winning all three. NC State looks to be the toughest test but they lack quality arms of the past (see Carlos Rodon).

Iowa-Cincy still has not started yet today, it will be underway shortly hopefully. The game for tomorrow is now at 10am.

Iowa defeats Cincy 6-2 tonight.
Iowa's relief pitching really made things hard on themselves today as Erickson/Radtke combined for the final four innings, but issued seven walks in that time frame. Erickson allowed both runs, only one of which was earned. Radtke threw the final two innings, but had four walks and a wild pitch that allowed the 9th to stay alive.
Tyler Peyton had an OK start for Iowa as he went five innings and allowed five hits, two walks, and no runs.
At the end of the day nine walks in a game is too many and Iowa is lucky it did not come back to bite them, cannot give up that many free bases and expect to win.
Offensively for Iowa...
Dan Potempa was 3-4 with a solo HR and a double
Sean Moore was 1-1 with a 3 RBI double in the 8th (pinch hit)
Austin Guzzo was 1-3 with an RBI double (played first base)
