On to the little apple for a three game weekend series vs K-State.

Considering how many pitchers they had to use over the weekend, I feel like this game getting canceled isn't such a bad thing. Let those arms get a little more rest and be ready for the K-State series.

Hawkeye baseball Twitter account just tweeted that Eldred is out for the year after undergoing surgery on Wednesday. If Gallagher is out for any length of time, season goes from very promising to survival. Too bad as this team had (with Gallagher and Erickson) really nice pitching depth and an improved offense.
