Guys, it is about to get real in here. 2nd weekend visitors will become the norm again. Losing Jok does hurt but he is such a liability on defense we will see improvement there already. Also the ball seemed to move better when he didn't play. Addition of 3 quality pieces as well to the rotation just makes us that much better. Weiskamp in 2018, PMac 2019. Oh man, buckle up!!!

Man I hate when we have high expectations. I have lived through so many times when I thought we had it all, talent, experience, momentum, you name it, only to see it all go down in flames. I hope we get better, that's it, not expecting the world to change, just have players and coaches get better at what they do or don't do.
Yep, I agree. I just see something different with these guys. Their work ethic, attitude and drive to win. Bohannon has the chip on his shoulder I don't give an F type of attitude as well at Guard that we have been lacking for years. THAT, is the main ingredient to turn this into a winner and the talent on the roster top to bottom is as loaded as the 80s.
Losing Jok is arguably not going to hurt a lot. Yes, a great streak shooter but a liability on defense. There is a ton of talent on this young team. Imo, it would defy logic if they don't continue to improve and become a B1G championship team in two years.
I'm def not calling for a championship but they should have the top 2-3 odds to win 1 in the next 2-3 year span.
Oh Lord... While I completely agree that there is a lot of potential with this group, to say that losing a guy who led the league in scoring and was 2nd on the team in rebounds, assists, and steals "won't hurt much" is laughable.
He was so deadly from 3, but watching the almost every game highlights of his porous D definitely offsets the scoring. Overall it won't hurt a ton IMO.
sometimes on offense it looked like other guys were sort of just standing around (perhaps disguising themselves as screeners) waiting for Jok to get the ball. I kind of hope next year's offense has more motion and passing. I like to think Moss will develop further as a go-to, and then I think over the season we saw Bohannon develop into a go-to. Pemsl on the block is almost always a good idea, and with guys like Wagner, Cook, and Baer running around and being disruptive with their hustle, there should be enough offense. Need to massively improve on defense though - Jok was very unimpressive on that end of the court.
