i've now acquired the taste for unusually horrible offense but not fielding a tough as nails defense (leave alone 10th in b1g) would make me very sad

Hopefully he stays a couple years….Budmayr has to be the world’s finest kiss up who would excel in the corporate business world. Unfortunately he has become a worthless anchor tied to our football program and won’t be gone until KF retires….😎
Obviously he has had great results at WF. Super solid offensive addition.
A thought occurred to me: our years with KF are realistically limited. Could this set up Lester to Head Coach and Ruggiero to OC once KF retires? Obviously, a huge speculation on my part. Still, I think I'd prefer LeVar as the next HC.

Great get, was one of the guys I had in my list for OC. Now we just need a TD on the RB coach!
All depends on the OL being able to maintain blocks or the slow mesh is a slow death.
We will see how slow mesh works against more elite defenses in the Big Ten.
Any more the list of guys who have done this is pretty high. How many guys who got fired went to be an analyst for saban for a year. Bielema did it for a year after Arkansas where he had Jim Leonard be one for a year after Wisconsin not getting HC job. We just hired Lester after a year with GB.
I’d be shocked if he’s here more than a year. Don’t see the downside to it.
This hire sounds pretty good to me. I'm looking forward to seeing what Warren brings to the offense.
