Ames has plenty of rooms. Most losing teams go home.

Every team will not be there all at once ever.

Parking and dining and the gross sky walk system isn’t something all that great in Des Moines.

Mixing it up is good. Force people to up their game to compete for these events.

No one uses the skywalk unless late at night or really cold. Dining options in DM put Ames to shame.

They can provide enough hotel rooms and stuff for all kinds of events and there will be more in 2027.

Does a kid dream of playing in WFA? No offense to anybody but that is a terrible basketball arena.

I actually like the CHA/Hilton rotation idea. Kids do actually dream of playing on those courts. I don’t know anybody who dreams of playing next to the big fishing bobber.

I’ve been to Iowa State games there back when we had the big four and when it played OSU and Creighton there. Thought it was incredibly stale.

That is because those were stale matchups. NCAA Tourneys have been crazy awesome
