I don’t vote in the polls, bro. I would have had Rutgers higher at the beginning of the season. They are damn good. They do have the type of toughness needed to win conference titles.

Conference title contenders win games like the one against Rutgers. Score 88 points, shoot 54% from the field and LOSE?! Good Lord!

Illinois is not a legit contender right now. Sweet sixteen ceiling, imo. Your freshman guards will improve but I just don’t see the toughness and quality depth teams need to win conference championships and go deep in the tourney.

Things might change by March but.... you were way overrated.

I can only imagine the meltdown this board will have if we lose tonight against Purdue. There will be calls to bench everyone but Luka and fire McCaffery. We're as level headed a fanbase as the next one.
