Maybe opens the door a little more for a 2 seed. Iowa State would drop to a 3 seed if they went by ranking. I think ISU is really good, but conference/tournament champions should be rewarded with higher seeds in my opinion and I feel Iowa is more deserving despite the head to head loss.
The women are 10-4 in Q1 games, they have the exact opposite resume the men have. Iowa could get 2 seed considerations but my guess is they will get a 3.

Oh, I’m just talking about a team that was suppose to be the greatest in school history that shiat the bed while Iowa just went on to another 10 win season.
What seed potential 2's and 3's have their conference tourneys this week besides Big XII? UCONN's conference also?

I don't care what the bracketologists think. I think you have to look at the human factor and that Iowa is on fire right now. Also name another team with 10 quad 1 wins. One of the toughest SOS and if you take into account the number of pauses and injuries, Iowa deserves the 2. We have more Q1 wins than UConn, LSU, Baylor and ISU. All of the other 2 seeds have a weaker SOS and it's not close. LSU and Baylor SOS is 45 and 49 respectively. Iowa has an SOS of 19. Baylor will get the 2 based on reputation and winning the Big. LSU does not deserve a 2. IMO, when the committee crunches numbers, Iowa will get a 2. I also think that Caitlin is an X factor as people will tune in to watch her play and I think TV viewership will also come into play when determining the final 2 seeds.
You can't believe the dozens and dozens of envious posts on CF regarding Hawkeye winter sports.
I thought it was bad during football season, but the way the Hawks have breezed by the Clones in WBB, MBB, and wrestling this winter has really just exacerbated Clone fans resentment.
It's glorious to witness the meltdown on their forums.
Not much meltdown on the Rivals site. Most fans were giddy about the early season run, but we knew that the conference schedule would be brutal. This was a team that had severe limitations on offense, yet won 20 games.
And yeah, there was that game in December….. 😎
