Iowa Men's Basketball finishes 23rd in national attendance

Why do we care about Iowa St? Actually it looks like they were very near at capacity.

It's unfair as Iowa St had the advantage of playing 5 or 6 of their 9 home conference games. That helped them immensely.

Iowa gets screwed with only 4 home Saturday games all season. That sucks. Sure they had 4 Sunday games, but that's still not equal.

5,000 or so more people wanted to watch Iowa. I can’t help that. It’s like not ISU was at capacity every game.

Prime corporate seating is an issue that I as die hard fans 20 year season ticket holder see as a problem. Those tickets are usually a gift to employees or customers and if the weather gets bad, they figure they are out nothing and do not come or leave early to beat save 10 minutes getting home. Many times the wife and I have procured a motel room to avoid driving home in dark, snowy conditions.

Put these seats at the top of Carver and put those faithful in attending closer to the court. That way they don’t block the view when they desert the team in a close game with 8 minutes left to play.

As someone who entertains clients the Carver Terrace is a way better option than my regular seats

ISU has a capacity of 14,384. No conference game did they sell less than 14,063 tickets. They were at 99.3% capacity for conference games. What day the games are for ISU has almost no impact.
