Iowa-Nebraska preview with probable lineups

If you are Nebraska’s head coach, what weight do you start the match. I think TnT are hoping to see how the bout is going to consider wrestling BK and GA. But by starting at 174, nothing for them to nase a decision on.

I think Nebraska would love for it to be a winner take all match at Heavyweight. Their crowd will be amped. Just the perfect scenerio to snatch victory away from Nebby. They're used to 4th quarter collapses anyway.

I did not know that. We fly to Lincoln?
You'd be surprised how often they fly. Usually to give extra recovery/acclimation time on a two dual weekend I believe.

They are driving to Lincoln, but I think they're flying back.

Agree with that . We will all find out tomorrow night. We know losing to Iowa St isn't an option. We will see if losing to others is different here real soon
The Hawks haven’t lost a dual meet to Nebraska since they joined the Big Ten. They haven’t beat us since Zalesky’s last year as Iowa’s head coach in 2006.
Since Tom Brands became Iowa’s head coach, he’s never lost a dual meet to Manning.
It’s an important dual to win.

I'd trade this dual win for just one champ at the end of the year.

Very surprised but that's interesting nonetheless.

If Gabe beats Starocci, you don’t need matches ahead of time to see where he’s at. But think about this for a minute. If Gabe waits for PSU to decide whether to burn his shirt who’s to say Carl has Starocci duck anyway?
I just can’t picture a 3 time national champion going for his 4th ducking anyone regardless of what his coach thinks. Nothing wrong at all thinking that Gabe could maybe beat Starocci but I don’t see it.

Yeah, Starocci isn’t ducking anyone. That’s preposterous, LOL. Especially not against Iowa. How disrespectful would that be if PSU said they don’t even think they need their Hodge favorite to beat Iowa? That’s not going to happen. Starocci won’t miss the match unless he’s sick or hurt or something.

CStar is wrestling the best of his career and will have a chip on his shoulder for this match; no way he sits.

As for the result, lets just say it's more likely Arnold gets majored by CStar than beats him.
