I think Coach Knight recruited another 8th grader whose first name was Steve or Stevie. Something like that.

Alford was not offered a scholarship until his junior year of high school.

We'll see if he pans out. Most of his classmates are going to Dowling, as he's already in the school system.

I remember seeing Shon Morris play in 6th grade (Altoona). He was so much better than everyone else that he could have been offered then.

He is thinking Damon Bailey. Bailey was offered in 8th grade. Dean Oliver was offered in 8th grade as well. Even in 8th grade you can see skillz on a lot of these kids that make them future stars. Some develop later. Peter Jok was a huge recruit in 9 grade.

Watched some of his highlight video. He makes it look easy against 5’6” 8th graders that he’s a couple years older than. I’d like to see video of him against high school sophomores.

I get a kick reading this site there are so many negative Iowa fans. Seems like they just wait for something that they can ridicule or laugh at.

Which part was incorrect. The Damon Baily part or the Dean Oliver part? Just trying to figure out your expertise that thinks I am wrong on both of those guys.
