Depends on what kind of week of practice Purdue has I supposePurdue and the points seems like a smart bet
Purdue and the points seems like a smart bet
Iowa will be favored the next two games and should win them. That would give them 8 wins for the season which is better than anyone thought they would be. Only their only losses would be against top 25 teams.
Not I, for one, but that's another discussion.which is better than anyone thought they would be.
If you think its a smart bet then its time to cash in my IRA and use that money to bet the other way.Purdue and the points seems like a smart bet
You thought they would be better than 8-4?Not I, for one, but that's another discussion.
I'd probably favor Iowa as well, predominantly because Purdue seems to have reverted to type after a promising start. Still, it's a conference road game, which doesn't give me a lot of confidence in our boys. I'd probably take the points in that bet.

We win by more than 9.....Purdue and the points seems like a smart bet

Can't speak for the guy you quoted, but I thought this team would be capable of 9-3. I expected a salty D and an average offense. If we had the average offense, we'd probably be looking at a 10 win regular season.
I can't remember the last time we had an average offense.
So so with the wind at our punter's back he might crack the 35 yard mark? With roll of course.Take the under what ever it will be. Early forecast calling for a very windy day Saturday. Have a feeling could be like Illinois game conditions last season there. Would favor Iowa.

Yeah, I did. I had a sneaky feeling about the team, that the WRs would be much better than expected, lifting the offense to be good enough that, paired with our typical strong D, would get us to 9-3. D has held up. And actually, the receivers have looked promising. And Stanley has looked outstanding at times. But somehow our offense still sucks. You thought they would be better than 8-4?
Pretty sure its not a road game, since its senior day in Kinnick........Not I, for one, but that's another discussion.

What the derp was I thinking?Pretty sure its not a road game, since its senior day in Kinnick........
No worries Daum. The eternal optimist, I'll take the Hawks at home on senior day to cover. They should be chomping at the bit to get the offense on the field. If I was KF I'd take the ball if we win the coin toss. Here's hoping for a solid performance to send the seniors out on a high note. Defensive player of the week for the Outlaw.........What the derp was I thinking?
Disregard me.
