These girls are so gritty, that 1st quarter was very poor, Wisconsin was very game & they put their hard hats on & just went to work.
Wisconsin didn’t just lie down and give it to us like they usually do

It looks like that is a possibility. Interesting. I wonder which coaching staff can adjust better for a second game.
*As the Hannah meter swings, that was a good Hannah game.
*Can't have McCabe come up with an 0-fer stat line. Team needs 9+ from her to get anywhere.
*Wisconsin was consistently getting by our defense to the hoop. That just can't happen.
*Iowa has to rebound better to beat teams they should beat. They were just not getting the ball. Noticed in the 4th Stuelke staying on a box out, so they were aware and trying to change that up.
*Really rooting for Mallegni to get it in the net. I swear she just needs the lid to come off and get her confidence back.
*Free throws were very important to holding Wisconsin down. Team did well, especially HS.
*They had Stuelke playing with Heiden for a bit. It wasn't too bad.
*Stemlow had a nice spin move layup. She *can* do this more I think, so it's encouraging. She missed an open lane to the hoop just after, so hopefully she looks to score more in the future.
*Looks like Wisconsin or Rutgers for the first round. Sure wish they had an easier path to big things. Going to be tough.

Stremlow had several very impressive assists in this game. She sees things.
The worst part is she doesn't shoot if she's closely guarded, so she's missing wide open 3s.
