Make it a double header. Go watch the Spring game, then head over to Duane Banks Field to watch Iowa Baseball take on Michigan, which should be a good game.

Sounds like the West Des Moines (Valley High School) practice will be the weekend of April 9-10.
Hopefully it will be a packed house this year.

Speaking of baseball, how's our team looking this year? It looks like we lost some key seniors does anyone have any insight into what our team is projected to do this year? Can Heller keep this thing going? Go Hawks

Picked to finish 4th in the B1G. Lost some good seniors.......will have to reload at a few positions.

I'll be there watching the Hawkeye diamond men. The trip will be a birthday present from Mrs Cruhawk :)

Should be solid. Lost some people to graduation & the MLB draft (Hickman, Comito), but return a lot, including some people who could have declared for the draft but decided to come back. Add to that the #1 recruiting class in the B1G (19th nationally), plus the coming phase 3 of the remake of Banks Stadium, and you have the makings of some exciting times for Iowa baseball.

Our family knows of a couple of the kids that are part of the incoming freshman class. Excited to see them on the field, should they make it, this year!
