With Iowa St selling a 3 game mini-pack that includes UNI and Iowa for $99, how many Hawkeye and Panther fans do you think bought them? It sounds like those tickets available sold out pretty quick.

Hard to say with any certainty, but if past performance is any indication then I suggest all anyone need do is look at how many times Iowa and UNI appear in the top ten attendance figures for Jack Trice Stadium.

Well.....Iowa St hosted neither UNI or Iowa last year and still nearly sold out every home game on their schedule.

Well, if history is any guide, some on this board will claim it was 50-50 Iowa and ISU. In reallity, there will be a lot of Panther and Hawk fans at those games, obviously, just as there are a lot of ISU fans in Kinnick when the teams play there. People always seem to have a way of getting tickets.

I cannot read Jamie's mind, but I suspect that a major reason for offering the three-game package is the same as the reason, a few years ago, for limiting Iowa tickets to season ticket holders. It has less to do with opposing fans than with ISU fans who cherry-pick the games.

Not sure what you are meaning on that. I am not going to argue over how Iowa St reports attendance, but attendance was very good least year with over 50k for each home game.

The attendance is on page 147 per the link below

It's tickets sold, like everybody else. Average home attendance the last four seasons:
2011 -- 53,647
2012 -- 55,274
2013 -- 55,361
2014 -- 52,197

isu dresses empty seats as fans and then counts them in attendance. Soon they will claim they have sold 100,000 season tickets if Pollard keep up with his minipack discounts.

I just looked at purchasing season tickets in Jack Trice, and there are only 95 Season tickets left, and they all require donations between $100 and $2500 to even be allowed to purchase. The brand new South End Zone with 13,000 seats is completely sold out, except for the Sukup Club right at field level, and those seats are a minimum investment of $2000 for 2 seats.

No, isu sold out exactly two games during the 2014 season at Jack Trice - North Dakota State and Kansas State, the opening two games of the season.

Baylor traveled to Ames and played before an announced attendance of 51,776. Toledo was next up and somehow managed to draw more fans (52,281) than the Baylor game provided. Oklahoma was next in line and the attendance fell to an announced 50,784. Texas Tech showed an attendance of 50,877; West Virginia 50,059 (senior day).

I'm confused. If they sold out the entire south end zone, how were there packages available there?

I assume the packages were sold.

But they wouldn't be season tickets then. The poster I replied to seemed to be claiming that "all" 13,000 SE seats were sold as season tickets. Which made little sense.

Have single games even gone on sale yet?

I don't think so. I know nothing about this stuff. I buy season tickets, so none of it affects me.

Who know what Pollard counts anymore as a season ticket. Not sure he knows himself.

That makes me chuckle. When is the last time Iowa had an actual sellout....not a fictional one that they report to the media and then have to backtrack on later. Oops.

Welcome yet another isu troll to the board. The obsession continues!

Iowa st game last year. Posted similar link in other thread. Go to page 7.

Iowa avg 67,512 Total for 7 games 472,584.
ISU avg 52,197 total for 7 games 365,377.

So you can joke about sell outs but Iowa avg 15k more a game and would still sell out every game at JTS Even with their new reservations with an extra 6k to spare. you're comparison about giving Iowa crap about sell outs is dumb as an Iowa or other school with similar size stadium making fun of Michigan for not selling out the big house last year. Sad thing is even with down tix sales Iowa will still project to have over 61k a year for home games. Not sure why ISU fans are on here all high and mighty boasting about selling season tix like it's an amazing accomplishment...

The only facts that count for clone fans are those that come from Pollard press releases/tweets.

# it's not fair

Mini-pack sales now counts for a season ticket. Why, because Pollard says so.
