They proved that they shouldn't have been a 10-seed.What “next level”? A 9?
They proved that they shouldn't have been a 10-seed.
Then TN and Cincinnati were over-seeded.They were seeded correctly.
Then TN and Cincinnati were over-seeded.
You can't have it both ways. Either Iowa is that good or they aren't. But for call or bounce here or there Iowa wins that game.

Or maybe the B1G was just better top to bottom than any other league in the country?that is some terrible logic on display here.

Can't stumble into the tourney every year and cry about the seed

So what happened in the 2nd half?If Barnes and his team didn't fall asleep because they were 25 points ahead in the first half, Iowa gets beat by 30.
An under seeded team doesn't get completely outclassed like that for an entire half. Period.
Clones got out scored in the 2nd half just like the first half.So what happened in the 2nd half?

Tennessee knew they would win and coasted.
Bad idea. And one of the reasons Barnes was fired at Texas.
Anyone else confused why the committee put Minny & MSU in the Same place? Why not move a 8-9 down to 10 and move either Iowa or Minny up? They could of put Baylor in Des Moines and put Minny out West in the 8/9 game?
Just seems odd to have two conference opponents play in the second round. Any other conferences have that happen?
Or Iowa came out in the 2nd half, punched them right in the face, and the Vols didn’t know how to respond.
The committee took the whole keeping teams close to their geographic region way too literally after the Top 16 were placed. Minnesota could have been flipped with SH and Nevada with Cincinnati. They prefer not move teams up or down a seed if possible although they will do it out of necessity if they are out of options.
Just seemed fishy to me. I get it keeping teams close, but no way should a 7-10 Seed be playing an hour from their campus. I dont care, it’s the NCAA tournament for a reason. If they don’t like it, start doing like the women do it and let the higher seed host for Christ sakes.
I get keeping 1-4 seeds close to home that’s okay cause they earned it. But nothing outside of that, should of moved teams around to fit the mold and keep conference opponents from each other until sweet 16.
Got it all figured out, don't you?Tennessee knew they would win and coasted.

No proof here but I think the committee likes drama. Example Duke /UCF.....Dawkins coached under Coach K. Iowa/Cincinnati ...Iowa learned Defense this summer at Cincinnati. Louisville/Minnesota.....Pitino/Son of past coach Rick Pitino. The list can go on and on! Thoughts???

Oh, you’re that guy. Got itDidn’t know how to respond except for winning the game and advancing, you mean?
Oh, you’re that guy. Got it
Lol. Nailed itI’m the guy who knows the difference between winning and losing. You’re apparently the other guy — the guy who gets all warm and fuzzy when the team tries hard.
Lol. Nailed it
It’s ok man..you’re dad can’t control you anymore. Let it goLet me guess...Northwestern your second favorite team.

...they belong on the next level if TN is truly a 2-seed.
