Jack Whitlock (transfer from Hutchison Community College) will start on the bump for Iowa. Heller indicates that it will likely be a 1 inning per pitcher game (no more than 2). Nick Gottila, Chas Wheatley and Jacob Henderson will throw for sure.

Heller just commented that the benefit of the game (along with Coe and Grand View) is that it is RPI neutral. Even if they trip up (BLASPHEMY), it won't be a negative on the RPI. Also said that it is a challenge to a hitter's timing to face D-1 pitchers for a full weekend and then transition to D-3 pitching.

Let's go Hawks! Curb stomp these guys.
