Was at a bar in 1996 with 2 Nebraska bandwagon fans in the booth behind me. They had brand new hats on and were rooting against Iowa obnoxiously. Iowa lost to Tulsa that day. As soon as Iowa game ended the tv cut over to the Nebraska game with Arizona State up 9-0. I let them have it so bad they got up and left. Arizona State won that day 19-0. Looking back, I'm surprised there wasn't a fight. Felt so good shutting them up!

Not sure that's the only reason Iowa fans are bailing. What I can't figure out is why the bugeaters are so gung ho on this game.
They're OK but much better fast food exists. A Runza burger is actually a lot better than the "runza". We just joke about it as Nebraskans because a certain percentage of people in the state will talk about the Runza sandwich as if it's a state treasure lol. Kind of like Casey's pizza in Iowa, which is good, but not worth telling everyone on the planet about.
Actually they are surprisingly good. Get the cheese runza. The mushroom and original aren’t the best.
