Makes for a long day. Would have definitely preferred 2pm cst. Still should have gave them enough time to turn the stadium around for football. 11 am will hurt attendance a little.

I think Marsteller will be at 57, Dieringer at 65, Krutchmer at 74, and Chandler Rogers at 84. I think Okie State can have bonus at 41 and 65 whereas Iowa can have bonus at 33, 84, and 97. It should be a great one. I wish I could make it
Ever single die hard fan has to show up for this event. This will be great for the sport but also for recruits!!!!!!!!!!
I don't think there was ever going to be a perfect time of the day to have this. It's definitely going to be an inconvenience to some but they just have to deal with it and support both teams.

2 PM cuts it too close. Doors for football open at 5 (or earlier) and that is when the field is supposed to be ready for warmups as well. The dual wouldn't be over until 4 or even later.
I hope the recruits think this is a pretty cool event! Definitely up to the fans to make this an awesome event by showing up.
I would put the over/under at 100 for OK State fans. Did they even have 1000 fans for the beat down Iowa gave them last year?
Hope you are right but I will believe it when I see it. That was a disgraceful showing by their fans last season.

What about Boyd 184? He beat Brooks last year. And I see Gilman getting bonus also just like he did last year 15-5.
If Sammie gets another shot at Boyd, I think he beats him convincingly, as he was doing in the meet last year until he got greedy and tried an ill-advised throw, giving up a 5-point move.

My computer has it 21-14 Iowa...although with a bit of a different lineup for the Pokes than listed. (157 Marsteller, 165 Dieringer, 174 J. Rogers, 184 K. Crutchmer, 197 Boyd) Can't tell if the computer absolutely LOVES Iowa, or just that it thinks Oklahoma State is a bad matchup for the Hawks.
I have no information just a hunch, but I don't think that will be the lineup. 57 and 65 look right. 74 will be Crutchmer or J Rogers. 84 will be Boyd or C Rogers. 97 will be Schafer or Weigel.
Just out of curiosity, what are the 3 bonus for Iowa and the 2 for the good guys?

Gilman beat him at the dual 15-5 last season. Which tells me he is more then capable of doing it again.Clark is going to get a lot of bonus points this year and the match against Harding will be one of them. Believe it was already stated that if Brody doesn't win the 149 spot then he will cut to 141. Won't see him at 157.
If that makes you feel better about it, then good for you...Just an opinion. To Major an AA 2 times in a row would be quite the feat. We will see
P.S. I never said he was not "Capable" to do that
P.S.S I guess Moisey is "Capable" of pinning Gilman every time they wrestle also

Every single highschool team in the state should take a bus ride to Kinnick for the meet. Not only is it historical from an attendance standpoint, you have the two most storied programs in the sport collaborating for this event. Hawk fan or not, wrestling has been figuring out how to gain interest lately with special events. This will be the pinnacle of anything achieved to this point. It will set a standard for events going forward which will help grow the sport.
No bonus for Iowa...wins for the Cowboys by Heil, Dieringer (fall), and Marsden (tech).
