Iowa vs. Tennessee set for 11:10 AM CT on CBS Sunday

All teams in the tournament are tough. Tennessee especially so. But they have flaws. While I’m not confident, I do have hope. Let’s go!

Not saying the TN game will be easy, but I'm not exactly scared of a team that lost by 20 points to Auburn less than a week ago (who was lucky not to lose to NMSU yesterday), then had a game in doubt in the last few minutes against Colgate a few hours ago....

Right. I said it before, but of all the top 8 seeds, they are my least feared. That doesn’t mean I expect Iowa to win, but it’s the best draw in my opinion.

He won’t remember. Watch the Hawks. Priorities
You’re right...priorities. Family first. Always.

He will only have one first birthday. Hawks will play hundreds more BB games in my lifetime. I can record the game and watch it later.

Got tickets to the women’s game. Gonna have to listen on radio and use March Madness app on the phone!

I have a bad feeling about the game, but I hope I’m wrong!

Had the same thought. Wtf is going on at this party that you can't watch the game in the background?
The game starts during church. It is and hour and fifteen minutes drive to their house. There will be no tv’s available to me while the game is on. I suppose I could listen to a few minutes on the radio but what’s the point?

Family is more important than a sporting event. Period.

I think most of the comments were tongue in cheek. It all depends on the family. My family would eithier have the game on it be talking about it. Your family wouldn’t. I hope you have a great day and happy b-day to your granddaughter. One is an amazing age.

I know....but some are serious!

Thanks for the kind words. Grandson, not granddaughter. They can’t have kids of their own and tried for many years to adopt without success and several disappointments. Finally, out of the blue, a newborn became available. He is literally our little miracle.

Don't be so melo dramatic, they don't remember their 1st bday party anyway. Common be a rebel for a change :)

Skip church and watch the game on the March Madness app, it's not that hard. And there's nothing wrong with watching a game during a birthday party. Most of the people don't wanna be there anyway.

Nope.

My wife is singing tomorrow. Between church and the 75 minute drive to their house the game will be over by the time the party starts. And even if it wasn’t, it would be rude and inconsiderate to watch the game during the party. What kind of idiot would do that when you can record the game and watch it later?

And you are wrong about most people not wanting to be there. EVERYBODY wants to be there.

Once again, get the app and watch. It's not inconsiderate, it's the right thing to do.

If the hosts have good food and lots of free booze then yes, more people want to be there. Otherwise they're faking it to not be rude.
