We've played and beat 4 teams that have beaten Nebraska. So....no.

It's pretty funny what your program has been reduced to. "Hey maybe we can ruin someone's season! Probably not and we still suck either way, but man it'd be fun to say we can play with the Hawks"
I am just saying...... Nebraska is better than you think. Iowa doesn't have a good track record against Nebraska.
I'm not saying Nebraska can't win. But Nebraska fans seem abnormally confident for a team that has looked bad all year. And so much is being made of Iowa's record against UNL. Since joining the Big 10, UNL is 3-1 against Iowa. That is a fact. But if I remember correctly, the 3 wins were 20-7, 13-6, and an OT win in a game where Iowa blew a 17-point lead. They only real blowout was by Iowa in Lincoln. Again, Nebby may win, but there is no reason why Iowa should fear UNL.
The weather right now doesn't look too ideal for next Friday. I'm expecting a fairly low scoring game for the most part, unless Armstrong is a turnover machine that day. I'm thinking a 24-14, 27-17 type of game one way or the other with a late score to put it out of reach. Iowa should be favored, and Nebraska will be rested and healthier than they've been all year. Should make for a fantastic game.
NEVER underestimate your enemy. Take these guys just as seriously as Ohio St. or Michigan.

Thank you, the only reasonable Nebraska fan (sadly) I have never had the chance to meet. Here is to a good game on Friday no matter the outcome.
I think everybody knows that either team can win friday, it's just the arrogance that gets everybody going.

Track records mean nothing. Our track record doesn't indicate an 11-0 season either. And until this season, nebs track record doesn't indicate 7 losses.
This is 2015.
What's funny about football is it only matters what you do this season. Last year's teams are gone. You have no Ameer to fear and we're much better.
In this case it should be obvious they mean nothing.
If you want to delude you're self with faulty logic that's you're choice but don't expect Iowa fans to indulge such nonsense.

Iowa beats Nu 2 years ago by 21. Loses to Nu by 3 last year in ot. Your picking Nu to win by 18 after they gave up 55 pts to Purdue and won a miracle game against Mich. St. your comical at best.
I watched the Purdue game today as well as the Nebraska-Purdue game and if we're favored by any less than 2 touchdowns there will be a TON of money to be made on the Hawks IMO.
Flip those teams around and you may be onto something.
When track records from the past is all that you have then hang on to them forever little buddy.
