311Husker comes on this board and spews BS without actual facts........zero actual intelligence in his posts.......I really don't know who will win on Friday, Memorial Stadium is a tough place to play........I do know one thing though, regardless of Friday's outcome, Iowa is still the B1G West outright winner. Now, hopefully Iowa doesn't go to Indianapolis and lay a big egg like the Huskers did the last time they were there......personally, I don't think they will.......
Sorry guys I have to disagree- I have been dreading this game against Nebby for 2 weeks now- I think we are on serious upset alert but I think we can win if we execute and don't have any hard brain farts like a designed run with CJ that not only caused a fumble but about got him hurt. That call today will go down as one of the worst of all time.

Yep. Smack-talking aside, I think this will be our toughest test of the season b/c 1) road game in a stadium packed with opposing fans; 2) our opponent has had a week of rest; 3) our opponent will become bowl-eligible with a victory; 4) our opponent wants to knock us off our undefeated perch.
We, of course, have our own motivation: 1) avenge our embarrassing and agonizing loss to them last year; 2) this team doesn't like losing. I hope that there are as many hawk fans as possible at the game, to support the team.
I think there is a good chance we'll win, and if we do, it will catapult the team into the CFP, because all games after this will be on neutral ground. Go Hawks!

The thing is Nebraska fans don't really respect Iowa because by sheer chance they've managed to avoid ever playing a real hawkeye type team.
They played us at the end of Hayden, never in the 2000s and then they caught us in another down cycle.
Everyone else in this conference knows what Iowa is capable of but to Nebraska this doesn't make sense but their education starts Friday, they will be served up a large does of reality. And even after that it will likely take a few more beatings but they will learn eventually.

Yes Iowa should be favored.....no shit Sherlock.....they have over twice as many wins and are 5-0 against teams Nebby is 0-5 against...weather was pretty bad this Saturday and Iowa put up 40....granted it was Purdue but u know all about that don't you

This will be a tough game - only because NEBBBy has to win to become bowl elgible. HOWEVER - Iowa has not forgotton that debacle of a loss last year, and will want to redeem that and finish 12-0. It makes it a really good win for Iowa. When did I ever say Nebraska was the better team? All I said is that Northwestern isn't a bad loss for Nebraska. I swear some of you get worked up just for the sake of being worked up.

That Minny game was probably pretty easy to remember, being that that was one of your few wins....so I will take your word on that one.....There were 4 teams that must have matched up "differently" to you than they did to Iowa....one of which was Purdue for goodness sake....I can tell you in 2012 I certainly did not go onto any other boards to talk smack because we were not very good that year (and still almost beat Nebby for our 5th win)...not that I didn't think we had a chance to win, it was just that I realized I had to room to talk because my team was not very good....just some advice to you

Iowa playoff chances are on the line and a unbeaten regular season never know if they play a little tight and play not to lose during the game.
Nebraska with all the last second losses could serve them well Friday. Purdue beat Nebraska mostly because TA didn't play QB that day with our Backup turning the ball over 5 times mostly inside our own territory.

Actually, I'd place Pitt ahead of Nebraska for sure. I'd also put Wisconsin ahead of Nebraska. I believe UNL's losses to Illinois, Purdue, and NW were flukes, and shouldn't have happened.
How does your fan base do it, I mean I am impressed.....somehow no matter what it seems like you can simply change the narrative and make everything look good for Nebbyland.....I mean we have our Koolaid drinkers (i fit into that catagory probably and at this moment looking pretty good) and we have our the world is going to end fans, but those are minorities...most of our fans are somewhere in the middle. We can make fun of Nebraska fans all we want, after all they are thinking they are going to come out favored in Vegas. The reality is, Nebraska is only a few bounces of the ball from having three more wins than they do right now. They are a decent ball club and we need to be ready for this game.
Oh for sure, I completely agree. I do not think they are a horrid team and I do not think a win a sure thing by any stretch of the imagination.....however, at 5-6 I would as a fan refrain from talking to much smack or even showing up on other teams threads...I have experience with this in 2012...you know the same argument you used for the 2015 Nebby team could be said about the 2014 Iowa team too BTW
The Iowa staff will get the players ready. We can take Neb for granted if we wish. The game is played on the field, not on message boards.
Like I said all season, Vegas lines mean squat. I like the chances 11-0 Iowa has on any field with a 5-6 team.
BTW- Lots of teams are a few bounces away from a good season. We had one, 5 losses by 18 points. I don't think folks realize what it takes to go 11-0 in today's FBS college environment.
