Iowa will play Penn State 6 years in a row

I, for one, will miss our cherished and time-honored Saturday match-up against Our Most Hated Rival, the Purdue Boilermakers.

Thank goodness the B1G respected the history and tradition of the rivalry and wisely realigned divisions to be sure we play every year......as Good intended.

I thought the B1G set it up where you were going to be playing one team in the other division with similar records over a 4 year time span whatever happened to that? Now you got multiple teams playing the same team in the other division for 6 years straight. No one really has explained why this is happening.

I thought there was supposed to be a rotation where over a certain time period you played all 7 of the East teams an equal amount

It seems that the "rules" keep changing

Division alignment equality aside, pairing crossover matchups with another competitive team for the foreseeable future will only further exacerbate the inequality of schedules. This isn't the Pros. I don't see why we should be giving Purdue or Maryland for the matter a scheduling advantage.
