A bit late, but still will post. So at the end of the day it feels great to beat Nebraska 56-14, and I legitimately thought Iowa was going to hang 60+. With that being said.

-The 1st half was as bad as Iowa could have expected and we still played even 14-14. Iowa did catch some breaks with the fake FG which I thought was a stupid call, but it worked out for Iowa. Iowa has had some very poor special teams play with the dropped punt and fielding the kickoff and stepping out at the 1.
-ISM really made some big plays. He did have the mental mistake on the one kick return, but he redeemed himself with the kick return in the 2nd half. I feel the block in the back was a ticky tack call, but don't take the risk. He made catches when he had to. He was also in the right place at the right time on the Wadley fumble and preserved a scoring drive.
-It was really two different Iowa teams in the 1st half/2nd half. It was nuts how it all went down. The Iowa run game had success in the 1st half. It could not be stopped in the 2nd half.
-When Iowa went up 28-14 in the 2nd half, Nebraska fans started leaving. To that I say shame on them.
-Nebraska fans also had Scott Frost shirts and signs. Show a little class and respect to the current coaching staff. Shame on them.
-Ultimately I feel Nebraska laid down and gave up. They were getting blown off the ball by Iowa's 2nd team OL in the 4th quarter. Iowa was pretty much running a simple dive left/right and running the play clock down. It was still working easily.

Moving forward...
-Iowa desperately needs a bowl win. Some of the potential opponents would be tough match ups and others I know nothing about. I don't care if it's a mid-tier/lower bowl, need to get a bowl W.
-Hopefully the extra practices pay off for the younger guys moving forward. I am REALLY excited with what we have returning on the OL with Stanley and IKM/Young in the backfield.
-The extra bowl practices, we really need to get special teams cleaned up on punting and kick return. I think ISM is the answer moving forward on kick return and PLEASE hang onto the ball. The punting game? I don't know. A new punter?

No you didn't. You confidently proclaimed that Iowa would lose this game and berated posters who predicted a Hawk victory. That is a fact.

So when Iowa had 56 and Welch picking it off and damn near returned it. I didn't legitimately think that? Thanks for telling me what I thought at that moment.

Well put. Our Punting game has totally disintegrated, beyond pathetic. Shows you the difference between Coluzzi and this disaster. Agreed Nebraska quit at 28-14.

Should have taken my advice=delete your account please. You are the worst kind of fan-it’s like when I’m at Walmart and see a fat white trash family with hawkeye gear on.....it’s embarrassing and wish they had on Huskers or cyclone gear. That is perfect representation of you

Seriously, have read some of your posts? How can you ever say "Show a little class and respect to the current coaching staff. Shame on them."?? That should be directed at you!!

You are the reason I rarely read posts on this board. Totally uninformed. No room on the bandwagon for fans such as yourself. You don’t deserve to be a Hawkeye fan.

It kind of make's you miss Iowalawhawk and his post-game "Objective Analysis" threads.

..... and what can you say about a bloke who refers to himself in third person when posting a catalogue of random and disconnected thought bubbles that he hopes will be taken seriously? ((except Doodle, of course, who earned 3rd person privalege by virtue of his superior wit))

So I'm a glass half empty guy admittedly, but don't ever question my loyalty to the Hawks. Too many low blows and yes I was pretty gloom/doom after Wisconsin & Purdue.

So OP is a performance artist.
