Iowa's chances at the NCAA Tournament

How many power 5 conference's 4th or 3rd place team has been left out of the tourney?

Few to none. However, the post I responded sounded like the poster thought the committee wouldn't (or even couldn't) jump over a team when picking. They certainly can, and I suspect have.

Ever since the 1997-98 season I have little faith in anything the NCAA committee does. Iowa-Indiana both go 9-7 in conference. Iowa beats Indiana twice by double digits. Indiana still gets bid because computer says they are better. (RPI)

All games count.

Yep....if you want a ticket to the postseason, you have to beat postseason caliber teams AND bubble teams.

Right now, MN, MSU and IU are all tourney-caliber and/or bubble teams. If we cannot defeat teams like this, we shouldn't be pretending we're a bubble team. MN has struggled as of late, so maybe we're in good position for an upset here. It seems that any team in this conference can come out on fire or flat and win or lose (particularly yesterday).

Keep in mind that if we beat any of those three team we likely put a dagger in them in the process.

Gotta atleast win one this week(1-1) would be fine with me. I think we need 6 wins plus a BTT win or 5 wins and 2 or 3 BTT wins.

But F it let's just win the BTT, then im pretty sure we're in lol. Hey if Alford can do it Fran can.

What is wrong with making a basket when the shot clock went off 2 seconds before or literally landing on Dev when he pumped faked and shot a 3 with no foul called? Comeon, Izzo is the Messiah.
the pump fake could have very easily been a foul called on marble, he didnt lean into him after the pump fake he jumped into him.

Gone. Unless we somehow win the B1G tourney....so gone.
