Does our offense generate good shots? 35% shooting won the the game today but how far will that take us?

Having only 3 turnovers probably saved us today.

Temple, surprisingly, shot 46%, and lost!

I think Uthoff shoots too soon sometimes; does he really need to take the 30 foot shots so early in the shot clock (as one example)?

The Hawkeyes failed to make a basket in regulation after taking a 61-53 lead on Clemmons’ driving layup with 5:08 left.

Would have loved it if Williams got 5-10min a game during the season. Mike and Clemmons havent progressed or adjusted at all this season. I like what I see from him when he has been in these past few games. Would be a nice change of pace guy for our offense to maybe help generate better shots. As it stands we have a very bland offense that has been well scouted up to this point.

I like Williams game from what I have seen. But as you alluded to, we just have not seen him much in game action

Our starters were 18-56....32 percent....not good

Guard play? Ughhh....

The break down:

0-8 Gesell
2-6 Clemmons
5-15 Jok

7-21 Uthoff
4-6 Woody

here is the game story from hawk central: http://www.hawkcentral.com/story/sp...ent-brooklyn-jarrod-uthoff-hawkeyes/81983004/

Interesting point: The Hawkeyes failed to make a basket in regulation after taking a 61-53 lead on Clemmons’ driving layup with 5:08 left. Temple grinded back as Iowa missed seven straight shots, forcing overtime when Quenton DeCosey (26 points) canned three free throws after Clemmons’ foul.
