Is Brock Purdy a $240 million QB?

It simply would be good cause to fire GM if he gives him max contract. I could say that about a lot of GM's in the league

And teams interviewing Matt Naggy.....You'll get what you deserve

You save yourself a $100 million if he is underwhelming.

Max offer would be a little more than the Baker Mayfield deal.
Are you talking about when Cleveland traded him or are you talking about the free agent contract Purdy could command if he has an underwhelming 2025 season?

Is a guy who can play a game really worth "240 million"?. No.

In 2025, with marketing, do NFL QBs gwt that kind of money, yes. Is Purdy a good NFL QB they had to lock up, yes.

It's a mixed up muddle up, shoock up world.....

Brock is a humble team first guy. I’m betting he works w The 49ers so they can build a team around him like Brady.

Per Google AI
Tom Brady is known to have consistently taken a "low salary" throughout his NFL career, meaning he often accepted less money than he could have commanded on the market, allowing his teams (particularly the New England Patriots) to allocate more cap space to build a stronger roster around him;estimates suggest he may have left as much as $60 million on the table by doing so

The 49ers have a huge decision to make that will have a major effect on the fortunes of their franchise for the next 5 years. Purdy has been giving them $30 million production at QB for less than a million dollars a year. But now he has three years in and is eligible for an extension.

Niners GM John Lynch has made it clear they want to keep him, but Spotrac says his market value is somewhere in the neighborhood of 4 years/$240 million.

IMO it would be a huge mistake to pay him that much. He would go directly from being the most underpaid QB in the league to the most overpaid QB in the league.

I would trade him. Let someone else overpay him.
Did Dak die? It's not possible to be the most overpaid QB in the league when Dak and Jerry Jones exist.
