Listening to the Cover 3 podcast, and a point that I agree with is this probably is going to hurt everyone in the west division and possibly help teams like Rutgers, Maryland and Indiana.

Those three may luck out and not get Ohio State, Michigan or Penn State where as everyone currently in the west may get anyone of those three. Penn State is beatable but Ohio St and Michigan look really for the foreseeable future.

Not to mention USC and UCLA join the league. Both look pretty good this year and I doubt either of them will just fall off with a couple established coaches. Throw in the possibility of further expansion with possibly solid programs like Washington and Oregon and it may be tough sledding getting into the top 12 teams for a playoff birth let alone the conference championship game.
