Actually, I think that Iowa *should* get some love in the polls. The Hawkeyes played an amazing game and Penn State is lucky to get out of Iowa City with win. Good luck the rest of the way - I wouldn't be surprised to see Iowa win the B1G West!
I'm not trying to be classless, they played with amazing heart, buy you do realize that they gave up 600 yards and only had about 200, right? It wasn't anywhere near a STATISTICALLY amazing game, but they had heart and were making it work.

We lost the game and I'm fine with that....if we could have made one more play we would have won! That said, PSU had help and I see no reason for them to be getting cocky! You disagree....go right ahead. I don't care.

Stanley seemed amped up. Understandably. A few more games and I think he'll be more relaxed.

If Iowa and PSU were in the SEC, Iowa would probably climb to #20 and PSU would jump to #1.
I dont recall a single hold call on PSU OL this game or last year (and there were a few that would have stopped drives).

That's our style man. You scored 2 touchdowns with 600 yards. It took PSU 300 yards, 3 football fields, to get 6 points.
I know my post probably came off like yours and in not meaning to. You were the better team with Barkley, that dude is absolutely a freak. I feel like he's the first star to come into Iowa and actually put up a monster game in a long time.
I'm not going to blame the officials, I didn't exactly have a great view. But, Barkley had a lot of time to dance around in the backfield all game long.
I think there might just be a lot of sympathy votes in there and yes I think it's possible we even edge into the top 25.

Nobody’s into moral victories and wanted that game. Not really into rankings either, but if you’re sitting 3-1 with your only loss on a last second play to #4, you probably should be included in the top 25.
Bottom line is PSU won - bitter tough loss but Hawks need to get ready for Sparty. Beat MSU & Illini and then have Butler return after bye week for the stretch run.
