Is Iowa ranked tomorrow?

......and they are a team that has yet to put together more than a good half in a game of signifance.

Good teams are consistent....even in a loss.

If they are really the most dominant run team in the B1G and the defense is back to it's old self. Iowa will be ranked.
Iowa's put together four good halves in four games so far. Unfortunately, they picked the wrong half against Iowa State.

You're missing the point. 4 games into the season and they should be putting together a whole good game....not a half.....especially against weaker opponents.

Iowa is still underperforming and the rankings support that.

No, I get it. Iowa in all honesty should be 4-0 but they've been underwhelming in all 3 phases at various times this season. They can't get away with "taking a half off" against Ohio State, because a 7-0 Buckeye lead can quickly become 24-0. Iowa simply isn't equipped to climb out of double-digit deficits.

It was still a ranked game. TAMU is also still ranked.

So ya, they have a bad home loss, but they also have a really good road win.
I don't disagree that they have a ranked road victory, just that rankings before any games have been played (or even less than 4) is a joke.

Your opinion doesn't negate the fact that the rankings existed and TAMU was ranked when Notre Dame beat them at home.
