Is Iowa ranked tomorrow?

Thought rankings will not be out until Tuesday due to Monday game(s)

somewhere between 45-50
We'll need to start 5-0 before we even come close to the top 25.

well considering we play wisconsin week 4, pretty sure if we're 5-0 we will be more than close to the top 25.

Right. We get zero credit for beating NIU, ISU, and UNI so we'll be about where we are now. If we beat Wisconsin (and we're 4-0) we move up into the bottom of the "others receiving votes" area, 30-35 range. Then we have the bye so we will sink a little. A win over rival Minnesota on the road will put us close to 25.
Of course, a lot depends on what other teams do.

Yeah that would be wrong. But, good try.

Not true. We got votes preseason. If we beat ISU and UNI, they'll almost certainly rank us just to hype up the Wiscy game for TV. ISU will be tough, glad we have them in Kinnick this year. Montgomery made us look silly with 3 LBs that camped with NFL teams (1 certainly making the roster, 1 50/50 roster or practice squad, 1 hoping for practice squad). I'm not the least bit worried about UNI. They're not as good as they were in 2009.

Edit: Ooof. Just looked up UNI score. They have 3 yards in the first quarter. They're at Montana (a traditional FCS power) and were 1 point dogs before kickoff. UNI QB is 0/8. I think we'll handle them.

Not tomorrow, but we beat the Clowns and don't stub our toe with UNI, we will be ranked when we play Wiscy. That would almost have to make it a night game.

I really want it to be a night game. But, there is some serious competition that week, that early in a year. Stanford v Oregon and Jimbo at Alabama. If CBS takes Bama (tenn v Fla is also that weekend) that will help.
