The only game that matters is the Wisconsin game. Win that and they will shoot up the rankings. I could care less about being ranked going into that game.
A lot of people who are Iowa fans and possibly recruits.
If you listen to the announcers we should be around 15 or so.

The rankings matter at some point, but it’s well sorted out once that point is reached.

I think the pundits were ready to have a reason to rank Iowa State, but we put the kibosh to that, so they're gonna be a little sour.

Agreed. Both teams were 'ranked' about the same heading into this game. Pundits we're excited for a feel good story of ISU's climb. Iowa had different plans and pundits will say, well yea Iowa should win.
