is it me???

She basically is what AJ could have been at a different school.
I think this is so true. Ediger is a really good basketball player - good hands, smart, good scorer from 15’ in. When you watch Iowa’s pre-game warmup drills, AJ may shoot the highest percentage. But AJ is too short for her game in a P-4 conference, and not athletic enough to switch positions. Had she gone to Illinois State, one of her final 3 schools, she could have been a 2000 pt scorer.

Ediger is also an example of the value of scholarship offers versus recruiting ranks. She was highly ranked, but the home state BIG schools passed on her, which was telling and far more accurate than her recruiting rank.

I've always said I thought AJ showed a lot of talent in the few opportunities she received. Was she underutilized? To some extent I'd have to say yes. She's quicker and faster than O'Grady, not to take anything away from O'Grady. Could AJ have been a star in hundreds of other places? I definitely think so. Iowa, IMHO, has four quality centers in Stuelke, Heiden, O'Grady, and Ediger.

It's your opinion and I respect that, however....I disagree with your notion that Iowa has four quality centers. O'Grady and Ediger are serviceable at best.
