No. They are not great, but have some athletes. Our defense needs to improve. We haven't been very good the last few weeks.

Nebby's defense is terrible. But Armstrong is a gamer and is the type of QB that gives Iowa problems. They had a bye and we will be playing on a short week. Plus, our defense is not playing very well right now.
That being said, we've had 5 common opponents and Iowa has gone 5-0 while UNL has gone 1-4. Nebby received a massive gift in their only significant "win" this year. The motivation to go 12-0 and the playoffs should be greater than going to a garbage bowl (although i'm sure Nebby fans will think they should be the first 6-loss team selected for the Rose Bowl). So Iowa should win. I guess we'll see.

Its funny how often Iowa fans want to bring up the fact that the past has no bearing on this game. Yet you all consistently bring up the fact that Nebraska lost to Purdue. So tell me, what does losing to Purdue have to do with this game?

For chrissakes even MINNESOTA fans (you know, the folks who chant "Who hates Iowa? We hate Iowa!" non-stop...even when they're playing someone else!!) had at least some semblance of a sense of humor during our game week.

How can Nebby fans even remotely have a straight face when they say they are the best team that we have faced???? The fact is we have already played and beaten 4 teams that beat you (including Purdue LMAO)....we are obviously joking when we say you are the worst team we played, but Wisc., Northwestern, and Pitt are all for sure better. Illinois is probably about the same (that is being nice since they handled you pretty good Nebby)....chew on that a little bit Nebby fans, you are currently in the same realm as lowly Illinois and there is not a single one of you that can argue that fact.....I know I know you beat MSU....but that was a pretty controversial win
