Is Ranch dressing the absolute best salad dressing of all time?

No. That title goes to Western. Or French. Horrific stuff.
I pretty much like them all. Blue Cheese is my favorite but I usually use a lite vinegarette or balsamic.
Ken's Buttermilk Ranch is the best ranch you can get outside of homemade ranch.
Gino’s creamy garlic is the best but ranch is a close second
Had a wedge salad at Hillstone in Orlando with the best salad dressing I've ever had. It was thousand island.
Homemade ranch, blue cheese, balsamic vinaigrette, creamy parm, Caesar, French - they are all delicious.
Hidden Valley is not ranch. Might as well ask me to come piss on your lettuce.
Thousand Island is usually my jam. I also like to do a little Catalina/Ranch combo when I want my salad with a little kink

Query: are you a ketchup hater? Not saying you are but many on here despise ketchup. It would be interesting how many here like thousand island but proclaim ketchup is a child’s condiment.

Litehouse Blue Cheese ftw. Expensive, but worth it IMHO.

I put ketchup on eggs, dip pizza in it and potato chips sometimes. 👍
Eggs are acceptable as I do that despite my wife’s side-eye. The rest is too much unless you’re hoping to score points with the 45th POTUS

I do enjoy reading the nutrition menu of pretty much any chain restaurant “salad”. 1200 calories. Lol
