Is this one on Fran?

Absolutely. Awful job. The usual not using his timeout end of half and we have an empty possession. Sticking with Harding way too long end of game. Staying with zone and not doubling young any of the last 3 possessions. Same shit different year.

He seriously thinks he is some basketball savant. Even to the common fan his in game coaching is awful. I hope this is his last season. We deserve better!!!

Terrible in game coaching... bad lineups, bad subs and doesn't know when to call the right timeouts. Good riddance!
Was hoping Fran would call a timeout after Sandfort caught the ball at half court. Then would get Perkins downhill with 1.7ish left.

I don't think Fran fans agree.
All these phuquin’ basketball geniuses here and we settled for Fran!
Tonight both sides played pretty good defense but Iowa didn’t shoot it quite as well as they have. I never saw Fran turn it over once or miss any jumpers… How exactly did he lose this one? I thought at times their spacing was bad on offense.

The coach of any program is always responsible for W/L by building the roster, playing the right combinations, teaching defense and offense.

I would agree there was no specific huge gaffe by Fran. The combination he played than with Krikke and Payton Sandfort has his two bigs to defend Marylands last play obviously didnt work very well. Fran had timeouts in his pocket to sub for the best defensive lineup possible and switch back to a different lineup for offense.

His “best” defender was sitting on the bench with a sprained ankle tonight.

Feels like he's continually throwing spaghetti on the wall to see what sticks.

Problem is, now the paint is peeling. It's time to go, Fran.
